The family traveled to NYC today to catch a broadway matinee. We saw Chicago. The cast was super talented and the performance was great. Elaine and Maddy loved it.
Me, I’m still not a fan
Maddy is convinced I don’t like musicals since I did like Les miserables and now I didn’t care for Chicago. But that’s not correct. I thought both shows were terrific performances I just don’t like the material.
I tell her it’s ok we don’t have to like the same things. But she can’t fathom I didn’t like it.
Regardless, it was a great family outing even if it was a long days drive up and back. Well, except the dogs didn’t appreciate the long day. We hired dog sitters to come in but they weren’t well received. It was the first time so maybe the pups will get better.
