Well, it’s here. My little girl is a freshman in high school. Everyone tells you the time flies by – and they’re right. It seems like just yesterday it was her first day of kindergarten. Soon, she’ll be driving, and then heading off to college....She graduates… but first AWARDS!

The girl graduates today. But last week we received the secret news that she was winning an award. So, we kept this info secret and invited grandmom to the award ceremony. So, today we showed up at her school, queued in line, and then took our place in the bleachers....Dance, Dance, Dance!

While enjoying the beautiful weather on May 1, as I prepared the backyard for barbecuing, I lit our fire pit and chimenea and began to setup the tiki torches in our backyard. Well the new school year has arrived and Maddy is starting 7th grade. It’s astonishing to me how quickly time passes. She’s growing up too fast. It won’t be long before she’s out of middle school and into High School. And then college?! School...
