Well the new school year has arrived and Maddy is starting 7th grade. It’s astonishing to me how quickly time passes. She’s growing up too fast. It won’t be long before she’s out of middle school and into High School. And then college?!
School supply and clothing shopping was a bit of an adventure this year. But we eventually worked it all out. She’s definitely curating a unique style that is all her… even cutting her own hair… much to the chagrin of her mother.
But I’m so proud of her and she’s a wonderfully smart and beautiful young lady. Sadly, she’s inherited her oafishness from me… and I think her slovenly housekeeping skills. Yeah, her room is always a mess. But they say geniuses are sloppy… so we’re all good I guess.
